Jerry Stoller

For approximately a decade, I had the privilege of working for the Stoller Group, particularly for Jerry Stoller. Jerry Stoller has consistently been recognized for his innovative approach to agronomy. From chelating micronutrients, plant growth regulators, abiotic stress mitigators, signaling molecules, to sustainable biocontrol agents, Jerry and I collaborated to develop (and numerous patents were granted) multiple solutions to address some of the evolving challenges faced by growers on a daily basis. Jerry consistently sought the most straightforward solution (the principle of parsimony or Occam’s razor) and avoided overcomplication. His approach in agronomy complemented my approach in chemistry. As we approach his birthdate on October 1st and celebrate Labor Day, it is imperative to acknowledge the significant contributions/labors Jerry Stoller made throughout his life.
